Musica Sacra Performance of Mozart Masses February 20

Lisa Jackson is playing a performance Saturday, February 20 at 7:30 at St. Francis Xavier Church in Kansas City of Mozart Masses with Musica Sacra. The “orchestra” consists of 2 violins, cello and organ. It’s been really fun this week rehearsing for this chamber performance and the choir sounds great.

Serenade Members Play at Immanuel Lutheran Bach Vespers

Rene’ Burrow and Lisa Jackson played J.S. Bach’s Cantata #191 with Musica Vocale under the direction of Arnold Epley at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Kansas City on Sunday, February 7, as part of Immanuel’s Lutheran Church’s Bach Vespers Series. The performance was during the Super Bowl, but the place was packed! The Cantata is taken right out of Bach’s b minor Mass and such a joy to play! Top of My List

Dear Donna, Thanks so much for your work at Laura’s wedding last Saturday. I thought the quartet was superb! Donna, I must say that your philosophy of professionalism and musicianship certainly showed! I will certainly put Serenade at the top of my list for prospective brides requesting special ensembles.
